Slack Integration
Connect Agent Rush to Slack for internal team support and notifications.
Overview
The Slack integration enables two key capabilities:
Internal Support Bot
Deploy your AI agent as a Slack bot for employee questions about HR, IT, policies, etc.
Escalation Notifications
Get notified in Slack when customers request human help or when issues need attention.
Setup Steps
Install the Agent Rush Slack App
Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Slack and click "Add to Slack"
Authorize Permissions
Grant the app access to read and send messages in selected channels
Select an Agent
Choose which agent should respond to Slack messages
Configure Channels
Set which channels the bot should monitor and where to send notifications
Usage
Direct Messages
Users can DM the bot directly for private conversations.
Channel Mentions
Mention @AgentRush in any channel to get a response.
Thread Replies
The bot responds in threads to keep channels organized.
Notification Events
Configure which events trigger Slack notifications:
- Customer requests human handoff
- Negative sentiment detected
- Agent unable to answer question
- VIP customer starts conversation
- Daily summary reports
